These gaskets are manufactured from high strength aramid fibers bonded with high-grade Nitrile (NBR) Rubber.
This material conforms to BS Specification 7531 Grade Y
Typical Properties include:
Maximum continuous temperature: 250°c (350°c Peak)
Maximum Pressure: 50 bar at 250°c continuous
Tensile Strength: ASTM F152, 12MPa at 1.5mm thk.
Recovery/Compressibility: ASTM F36 50% at 1.5mm thk.
